əsˈCHo͞o/
verb

- deliberately avoid using; abstain from."he appealed to the crowd to eschew violence"
- Originlate Middle English: from Old French eschiver, ultimately of Germanic origin and related to German scheuen ‘shun,’ also to shy.
Isn't this a fantastic word? I used it this past weekend, and think it's a word that more people should use regularly.
The definition and meaning are fairly straight-forward. You would use it in place of "avoid" or "shun".
Wow, I guess I don't know this word!
